Information

The original building, which was 66,000 square feet and three stories high, was completed in 1965. The building expanded to include an additional 63,000 square feet after renovations were completed during the summer of 1994. The Student Center is connected to the Mid-Rise Residence Hall by a three-story domed and columned rotunda. The main entrance to the student center and Mid-Rise can be found in the rotunda. A glass-enclosed south entry, known as the breezeway, connects the Student Center with Champagnat Hall. Marist was able to redesign the Champagnat Courtyard, which leads to the breezeway, in 1989 due to donations from the Reese family. Facilities and services within the Student Center include classrooms and meeting rooms, theatre, performing arts rooms, music practice rooms, dining services, health services, billiards/video game room, commuter lounge, student government offices, student radio and television studios, campus post office, and video rentals.
