Location Description: White Oak are found anywhere from moist, fertile valleys to sterile mountains, elevation to 5,200 feet. This paticular is the first tree in a row of white oak that extend the vector of the parks chainlink fence on your left side.

Rational for Including: This is a beautiful tree and it is the largest tree along the path. It has a many fallen acorns and wildlife, such as squirels, chipmunks, and birds can be found feeding on the fallen nuts.
