White Spruce

Scientific Name: Picea glauca

Summary: This tree is typically found in mountains or cleared pasture, this tree is found in my backyard. It is a rather tall and wide tree that was used by the last owners as an outside Christmas tree. It is noticeable from the road due to its size and how it is on top of a small hill. The white spruce has thick branches but the needles are not super prickly. The reason that I picked this tree is because of how large it is and the history that is surrounding it.
