White ash (Fraxinus americana)

Reading, Pennsylvania 19606, United States

Created By: Jacob Edward Gardner

Information

This species of trees prefer to grow in areas that aren't recently disturbed but not in mature forests and can be found in areas where tall trees are not present yet. The tree in the picture can be found by finding the back of the target in Exeter PA. it's hard to miss as it's one of the only planned trees back there and has a mulch ring around it.

The ash trees in my area are almost gone because of the invasive species the emerald ash bore. if someone was coming to my area it would be a good thing for them to see the ash before they are killed off.
