White oak (Quercus alba)

This tree species likes to grow in mature forests and doesn't mind a little shade as its growing. The tree is being used for shade on my property and can be found next to the flowering dogwood and can be seen by walking down my driveway on the left.

This is my favorite tree species because of the size tree when fully grown and the unique shape of the branches and trunk as it grows because of that I added it to the tour.
