Scientific Name: Salix nigra
Summary: This tree is found typically near ponds, rivers, and even underground water sources. This Willow is found on Winn Road near a small pond. It is easily noticeable from the road by its shape and its drooping branches that are distinct in Willow trees. I picked this tree because Willows is easier to identify because of their shape and branches.
