The carriage barn houses antique carriages of several types. It is open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 1:00-4:00pm during tour season in summer and fall.
This railroad shanty is a well-preserved example of a 19th century tender that once stood at the crossing on Topsfield Rd. in downtown Ipswich. 
The Greenhead Fly was produced by artist Joshua Gerloff in 2009. 
The stone wall at the south corner of the museum property is actually the stone foundation from a church that once stood in this spot.
Built around 1677, the Whipple House is a first period home that has been designated as a National Historic Site by the National Park Service. 
The housewife's garden offers a glimpse of a typical 17th century garden grown for use in cooking, medicine, and other home remedies.
A cordwainer's shop from 1740, relocated from its original location at the back of the Bradstreet House to the Ipswich Museum grounds in 1968. 
A replica of the modest house owned by Alexander Knight in 1657. The house is typical of the modest dwellings used by early settlers in Ipswich in the 17th century.
