In 1895 this building was built by Chittenden and Eastman Furniture Manufactures to be a showroom for their furniture. It had many tenets. Troxel Bros furniture was the first in 1896. The next tenet was Brown Shoes followed by White Furniture followed by Brown Shoe Fit in 1990. The storefront is Roman Brick followed by anodized aluminum windows. It has a metal decorative cornice on the fourth floor.
