Tour Information

Change can be hard, change can be welcome and change can be delicious in the case of the five new venues we're highlighting this month. Chef Justin Smillie, formerly of the fabulous Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria, is now cooking Italian with a California twist at a new Manhattan brasserie. A charming New Orleans–style bistro in the East Village has become another charming New Orleans–style bistro—albeit with different owners, a different chef and Louisiana-meets-Canada influences. And the same owners at the beloved Five Points have remade and renamed their space and hired a new chef to remake the menu. Our slideshow also has details on Alex Stupak's latest rocking taqueria as well as a cool artisan food market in the Meatpacking District.
